Webmaster Guides, Tutorials and Opinion from tazr

TAZR.com offers a wide range of tutorials, guides and opinion on many aspects of the internet and designing for it. We have many years experience in producing content for the internet and have decided to put this experience to good use and share it with anyone who will listen!

The crux of this site is a collection of tutorials on creating websites that focus on the standards set out by the World Wide Web Consortium. The techniques we can teach you will range from simple XHTML static pages right the way up to fully blown beautiful dynamic sites using XHTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. There are a whole host of other sites out there that cater for beginners so we'll try to focus on the more interesting aspects of web design, but we'll throw in some beginners tutorials as well, just for good measure.

We also work on projects that interest us from time. This site is running on such a project. We created a content management system that uses PHP and MySQL to enable us to quickly and efficiently add and modify content on this site. As our requirements were not straight forward we decided to build our own system instead of using one which was already established. The tazrcms is the result. We are also currently working on a number of other projects including a tool for software developers and a blogging application.
